Medical

HEALTH will be a fundamental aspect of this project. A center which will help treat expectant mothers and babies from 1 to 2 years (neonatal and
postnatal). It could prevent complications and death of hundreds of women during childbirth, and also the medical care of the babies. In that sense we will be, on the medical side, linked to another NGO in Mbour, an Orphanage called “Vivre Ensemble” (Live Together).

Education

 EDUCATION will be certainly vocational, professional and technical. This center will incorporate different activities to help the youth learn skills like sewing, confection, ceramics pottery, soap mixing ,the art of dyeing and art, mechanic training, electrician, and finally basic computer skill training. Along the same line we plan to set up a library equipped with about a hundred computers for the kids. A large exposition room of the products and works made by the kid’s center is part of the plan, and finally a cultural section.

 Sports

A.O.A.A.D. plans to set up two basketball courts: one covered and an outdoor one, with a well equipped weight room and locker rooms. A storage room for the sports equipments and gears, and finally a training room for potential injuries

Others

We will have public toilets for the students and a janitorial room for supplies and services, one room for security guard, and a play room for kids. And also one room for the drivers.

Administration

 We will have the Head office, the Secretariat office, the Accounting Office, the Office of Logistic Material and Transit, the Bureau of Press and finally one (1) break room (Room Station-wagon).

Topics covered by this guide include architecture, building and construction in a 3 ha surface. This is just a selective guide, but we will like to have a design or model of construction on which we will be able to

determine the costs of the center. In short, our resources and fundraising will be directly linked to the evaluation of this project and will enable us to acquire the land, and use it as one of our best tools in our website to activate fundraising.
