Have you ever thought about volunteering in Senegal, West Africa? Have a unique cultural experience away from the life you are used to! Imagine how wonderful it would be for you to travel to Senegal, and volunteer with the African people while learning more about their unique culture directly with them?

This is your chance! Volunteer! Make a difference!

The AOAAD short term volunteer project is designed for volunteers, individuals, families, groups or community and faith-based NGOs who would like to spend time in Africa helping make a difference in people’s lives. Volunteers will work specifically with the rural communities of Senegal to support essential educational, healthcare and environmental programs. Volunteer program last for a maximum of one month, volunteers will also have a chance to learn about the culture in African communities. Pre-Med students, nurses, doctors are encouraged to apply for the health programs, while teachers and environmentalists are encouraged to apply to the education and environmental program respectfully. All volunteer programs include visit to Goree Island, the tours of Dakar (the Capital) and its multiple points of interest like the Presidential Palace, IFAN museum, the Pink Lake etc.

               Not just vacation, but one with a meaningful purpose.
